The Great Gatsby

Until today, I have spent my life being one of those poor saps who had never read The Great Gatsby. Now I can join the throngs of "cool people" who know what's what and know that The Great Gatsby is "the shiz" (to be frank).

As you might have guessed, what I loved most about this book was the language. Brilliant, beyond brilliant. If you haven't read it yet, I hope you have as much fun as I did trying to guess which characters were going to meet their tragic ends . . .I suppose that shouldn't be fun, but whatevs. It was great.
