To the Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf

Another Virginia Woolf novel was up to bat on my reading list, so if you're hankering for more stream of consciousness after your stint with Mrs. Dalloway, then To the Lighthouse would be the book for you.

However, I feel that To the Lighthouse is a little more difficult than Mrs. Dalloway, and feels even more "plotless" and vague. When I read Virginia Woolf I just get so frustrated not knowing what she means by this or that, or if it has any meaning at all. But that is certainly one of the most tantalizing thing about Virginia Woolf's writing, it is unfathomable.

I would recommend To the Lighthouse merely for the language if I could. It is most excellent.
